About Preksha International

Preksha International is a global non-profit organization devoted to promoting peace, harmony, and holistic well-being through the timeless practice of Preksha Meditation — a system founded by Acharya Mahapragya under the visionary guidance of Acharya Tulsi.

Established in 2002, Preksha International serves as the international arm of the Preksha movement, connecting seekers, trainers, and centers across more than 24 countries. It is recognized as a Founding Institution of the Indian Yoga Association and a Founding Member of the International Meditation Alliance.

Guided by His Holiness Acharya Mahashraman, the 11th Acharya of the Jain Terapanth Order, Preksha International continues to expand globally — nurturing individuals and communities through meditation, mindfulness, and compassion.

Our Mission

To create a conscious and compassionate world through the practice of Preksha Meditation — empowering every individual to realize inner peace, emotional balance, and moral clarity.

We believe that meditation is not an escape from life — it’s a way to live it better. Through awareness and right perception, every human being can awaken their innate strength and contribute to global harmony.

What We Do

1. Global Meditation Programs

We organize international camps, workshops, and online retreats that bring together participants from diverse cultures and backgrounds. These programs combine spiritual wisdom with scientific understanding — helping individuals experience stillness, balance, and self-discovery.

2. Teacher Training & Certification

Through the Preksha Teacher Training Course, individuals can become certified trainers. Over 250+ certified Preksha Trainers are now teaching worldwide — from India and Vietnam to Mexico, Spain, and Japan.

3. Corporate & Institutional Wellness

We conduct tailored meditation and mindfulness programs for corporates, schools, and universities, promoting stress management, productivity, and emotional intelligence in professional settings.

4. Digital & Research Initiatives

Our digital transformation includes the Preksha Meditation Mobile App, multilingual guided practices, online communities, and scientific research collaborations that validate the benefits of meditation on mental and physical health.

5. Global Outreach & Social Service

Preksha International actively participates in international collaborations with organizations such as ICCR, UNESCO, BRICS Forum, and global yoga institutions — spreading the message of non-violence, harmony, and universal friendship.
