To start practicing Preksha meditation, you need to find a quiet place where you can meditate. If you choose to sit or lie down, you will need a mat. You can wear whatever you are wearing if you feel comfortable with it. No other accessories are required for Preksha meditation.
There is no strict rule about where to meditate; you can meditate wherever you are. It is good to have a regular place for daily meditation which will build conducive atmosphere. If you find it hard to fix a place, you can practice at desk or even while you travel. You can meditate in religious and community places or at Preksha Meditation centers. Meditate wherever you feel comfortable. As you grow in meditation, you will be able to practice no matter where you are.
Please refer our website www.preksha.com for contact details. You can also e-mail directly to Contact@Preksha.com mentioning your name & contact details.
There are a few recommended guidelines for meditation:
The best way to learn to meditate is by practicing it. To learn the basics of Preksha Meditation, you may attend a camp, use guided meditation or even learn it by reading. But the key lies in practicing what you have learnt. It is like learning to swim. Unless you do it, you really do little to reach your goal. You don’t know what lies in the ocean unless you dive in. The desire and willingness is the measure which can take you far in the journey of learning meditation, learning about your inner self.
