The admissions process to Lower Prep at BIS begins when the child is three years old, approximately twelve months before the child is admitted to the school (at approximately age four). Please always check the website for the actual eligibility criteria.
At the Lower Prep stage, there is no testing of students.
Students applying for Grade 9 are assessed on English and Math.
Students applying to IBDP will also be assessed in English and Math. We have students who come from different curriculums – national and international. No special preparation is required for this test. The tests help give the school an idea about the aptitude of the student.
When applying for Chance Vacancies, students would be assessed depending on the grade for which they are applying. These assessments will be in English and Math.
